Trade Up & Warranty Policy

Growing With Your Musical Journey

At Washington Pianos, we believe the right instrument should support growth, confidence, and lasting musical enjoyment. Our Trade Up and Warranty programs are designed to help your piano evolve alongside your goals.

A Piano Journey Designed to Grow With You

Choosing a piano is often the beginning of something meaningful — a child’s first lessons, renewed musical interest, worship, teaching, or a lifelong love of music. At Washington Pianos, we understand that musical needs can grow and evolve over time.

Our Trade Up Program is designed to provide confidence and flexibility as goals change. Many families begin with one instrument and later transition into another as skills, musical interests, or household needs develop. We believe your piano should support progress, inspiration, and long term enjoyment every step of the way.

Alongside our Trade Up Program, our warranty support reflects our commitment to carefully prepared instruments and lasting customer relationships built on trust, service, and musical success.

Acoustic Piano Trade Up Program

For qualifying acoustic pianos purchased from Washington Pianos, our Trade Up Program is designed to give families and musicians confidence as their musical needs grow.

Many students and families begin with a thoughtfully prepared upright or smaller piano, then later choose to move into a larger upright, grand piano, or premium instrument as skills, goals, and musical expression develop.

When eligible, qualifying acoustic pianos may be traded toward another qualifying acoustic piano at Washington Pianos, helping support a natural path of musical growth over time.

Our team is happy to explain current eligibility, trade up terms, and available instrument options so you can make a confident and informed decision.

Digital & Hybrid Piano Trade Up Pathway

For many families and beginning musicians, a digital or hybrid piano can be a meaningful and practical starting point. These instruments often provide flexibility for practice, quieter living environments, and evolving musical needs while offering an inspiring pathway into piano ownership.

Washington Pianos offers qualifying Trade Up opportunities on select digital and hybrid pianos, helping families transition into another instrument as musical goals grow over time. Depending on the instrument and program, qualifying trade up opportunities may be available within two or five years toward another qualifying piano.

Whether beginning with a premium digital piano or planning toward a future acoustic instrument, we believe the right piano should continue supporting growth, confidence, and long term musical enjoyment.

Warranty Support & Prepared Instruments

A piano should feel reliable, inspiring, and ready to support meaningful music making. At Washington Pianos, our warranty support reflects our commitment to carefully prepared instruments and long term customer confidence.

Qualifying pianos are inspected, prepared, and represented with care so customers can make informed decisions with greater peace of mind. Warranty terms may vary by instrument, category, and purchase agreement.

Our goal is to help each customer understand the piano they are choosing, the support available, and the best pathway for their musical needs.

Please contact Washington Pianos for current warranty details, eligibility, and instrument specific information.

Purchase Confidence & Returns

We want every client to feel informed and confident before purchasing a piano.

Because instruments often involve individualized preparation, technician time, moving coordination, financing arrangements, and personalized selection, piano purchases are generally considered final.

For this reason, we encourage thoughtful questions, showroom visits, and conversations before purchase so we may help guide the best fit for your musical goals, home, and budget.

In special circumstances, Washington Pianos may review concerns on a case by case basis.
