ONE-OF-A KIND Vintage 1878 WEBER ROCOCO-STYLE BRAZILIAN WALNUT GRAND PIANO TOP & UNIQUE SOLID ROSEWOOD BODY, 7 Ft Professionally restored, rebuilt, refinished, re-strung, regulated and tuned to pitch. The top of this piano is solid Brazilian Walnut and the body is Solid Rosewood. The wood is in immaculate condition with a professional refinish. It has a clear lacquer semi-gloss finish. This piano has the highly sought after carved cabriole legs and dual fish lyre. Weber grand pianos at this time were extremely well-built and preferred by many of the world's famous players. The New York Metropolitan Opera preferred Weber during the Golden Era of the 1880's. Fully and professionally restored in 2018. Beautiful tonal quality. Compared often to Steinway. The mahogany wood is a perfect case wood for homes where a warmer tone is usually preferred. This piano styling is a perfect conversation piece.
