DESCRIPTION

The Weber Piano Company was one of the leading American piano companies of the 19th and 20th Centuries. The firm was known for building high quality, well-made pianos for both private homes and the concert stage.

This lovely piano is made of unusual exotic-grain walnut wood and is of the carved Edwardian style.  The piano was built at a time when Weber was moving from the excessively carved Rococo style Victorian pianos to the more simple and elegant designs of the 20thCentury.  These Edwardian style pianos were built during a transitional period and are especially beautiful.  They were built in small numbers and are a bit rare today.
